CHA Day 2

Today was actually the last day of the Craft & Hobby Association trade show so I am slightly behind in posting photos.

Here are some random photos of a few new products as well as some very cool displays that I enjoyed.

Die Cuts With a View had some amazing dress form displays with the dresses created out of their new papers.

A display as only Tim Holtz could create. This was at the Ranger booth. There were three of these displays. Tim said that his neighbor painted the hands, the lights are from Ikea and either the bulbs are special or the glass is colored (I don't remember exactly how he described this). Either way, this display was fantastic.

Tim has a new line of Distress Stains. This is such a great way of showing how the stains can color paper, ribbon and canvas fabric.

The sewing box below was created using Tim's Configurations boxes. How amazing is this! The Sew Grand book in the foreground actually fits inside of the sewing box.

This is a new product from 7Gypsies. It looks like a vintage sewing table drawer.

Some trends that I noticed were lots of rosettes everywhere and the vintage look is still going strong. There are also many variations of shadow boxes as seen in the sewing drawer here.

Hope you enjoy these images.

  1. Thanks for sharing your experience at the trade show. I actually featured the zombie hand display on my blog's "Best of Halloween Decor" list today: http://doordiy.wordpress.com/2011/10/17/most-wonderful-time-of-the-year/. I think this would be a great idea for a Halloween house party!
